Oil Spill
The poster is designed for the Positive Poster event in 2013 and to make people aware of the problems in the world.For my particular work, I've decided to make people aware about animals being harmed by chemical waste focusing on the oil spill. I chose the rubber duck instead of an actual animal to represent the innocence of animals because rubber duck is usually a toy that is used to bath with young children which gives out the clean and innocent image. On the other hand, the black -slimy oil gives out a presence that ruins the image of being clean and innocent - capturing the point of the poster; these two does not go together.
